Scott A. Edwards, D.D.S.
Dr. Scott Edwards is a lifelong Memphian who loves to help patients create their perfect Smile. After graduating from Overton High School, he received a BA in Biology from the University of Tennessee. He is a past President of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He graduated from UT Dental School and opened his private dental practice in 1982.
Dr. Edwards has participated in numerous medical and dental mission trips to El Salvador, Africa, China, and the Dominican Republic. He helped establish the dental clinic at the Church Health Center. In 2010, Dr. Edwards led a dental construction team to Ganta, Liberia in Africa to construct a dental treatment/teaching facility at the local hospital. In 2012, Dr. Edwards received the Memphis Dental Society Humanitarian Award.
Scott Edwards Cosmetic and Family Dentistry was founded on honesty, integrity, and a commitment to serve families in the community by providing quality dental care. The practice has grown to include two associate dentists, twelve employees, and thousands of patients at two locations.
Julia Prince, D.D.S.
Dr. Julia Prince grew up in the dental community in Dyersburg, TN, working with her father’s dental practice. She always knew that she would follow in his footsteps by pursuing a career in healthcare that involved helping people. After graduating from Dyersburg High School, she obtained her biology degree from Lambuth University in 2006. She completed her DDS at the University of Tennessee Dental School in 2012. Dr. Prince is very active in the dental and local community.
Dr. Prince received the Jack Wells Outstanding Young Dentist award. Volunteering is very important to her. She has worked with various organizations, including Mission of Mercy, Hope Smiles in Nashville, Give Kids a Smile, and the Bellevue Baptist mobile dental clinic. She has attended many local health fairs with the American Association of Women Dentists. She has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and been a part of the Regional Interfaith Association Soup Kitchen.
In 2012, Dr. Prince joined Scott Edwards Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. Together with Dr. Edwards, she works with each patient to provide comprehensive customized dental care. She takes the time to get to know her patients and is committed to educating them about their dental health and treatment in an effort to alleviate any fears or concerns they may have about dentistry. Dr. Prince is passionate about what she does, and it shows in the motivation and excitement she brings to the office each day!
Since making Memphis her home, Dr. Prince loves to spend time exploring and supporting small local businesses when she isn’t working or volunteering. She also enjoys golf, riding bikes on the Greenline, and watching sports in her spare time. Dr. Prince is married to husband, Taylor Pfohl, and has a son, Rex. They have two wonderful rescue dogs and are members of Idlewild Church.
Clayton Myers, D.D.S.
Dr. Clayton Myers is a Memphis native and associate dentist at Scott Edwards, DDS, known for delivering modern, comprehensive dentistry with a personalized approach. Since joining the practice in 2022, he has focused on helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through advanced techniques and thoughtful treatment planning.
Passionate about clinical excellence, Dr. Myers has completed extensive continuing education at Spear Education, with advanced training in treatment planning, occlusion, full-mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic veneers. His commitment to staying at the forefront of dentistry ensures patients receive the most up-to-date, high-quality care available.
Dr. Myers also serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Solventum, reflecting his involvement in shaping the future of dental materials and techniques. In addition, he is a certified Botox provider through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), offering patients both functional and aesthetic enhancements as part of a comprehensive care experience.
He earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi. A graduate of Christian Brothers High School, Dr. Myers is proud to serve the Memphis community he calls home. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies and Ole Miss football.
Margaret
RDH
Margaret has been a big part of our practice since joining us as a dental hygienist in 1998. “Margo Fargo” has a huge heart, and takes pride not only in the quality of care she is able to provide to our patients, but in the relationships she is able to develop with them. Margaret is mom to five fantastic children, so she stays busy!
In her free time, she has a passion for cooking and baking delicious treats to pass on to others. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, volunteering for the causes that are important to her, and spending time with her husband, kids, and six grand children.
Laurie
RDH
Laurie, RDH, has been caring for patients and building meaningful relationships in dentistry since graduating from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1983, after completing her undergraduate studies at UT Knoxville. She has worked alongside Dr. Edwards ever since, bringing not only experience but genuine kindness and heart to everyone she meets. Guided by her motto, “live large, laugh big,” Laurie creates a welcoming, uplifting environment for both her patients and her team each and every day.
A true Memphis native, Laurie finds joy in the simple things—going for a long walk, staying active, and soaking up time outdoors. When the weekend comes, you’ll most likely find her at Pickwick, unwinding and making memories with her husband and their three sons & daughter in laws.
Laura
RDH
Laura is a native of Collierville, TN. She attended the University of Memphis and majored in Exercise Science. While a Memphis Tiger, Laura was a member of the Track and Cross-Country team. She went on to complete her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2016. Laura has been working as a hygienist at our office since 2020.
Laura enjoys running in her free time and traveling to see family and friends. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Christian Cain and trying new restaurants in the Memphis area. Laura's compassionate nature and knowledge of the dental field is a great asset to our practice and our patients. She always has a smile on her face and can't wait to help you with yours.
Megan
RDH
Megan joined our team as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2018. She is a native Memphian who completed her undergraduate work at the University of Memphis.She graduated from the University of Tennessee Memphis in 2010 and has been practicing dental hygiene in the Memphis area since graduation.
She loves getting to know her patients and educating them on maintaining a healthy smile. She is head of our hygiene department and is in charge of all aspects hygiene related, including team leadership, patient care standards, continuing education, and department growth. Megan enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Charlie and Nora.
Brittany
CDA, RDA
Brittany is a certified and registered dental assistant who joined us after completing her externship in our office and graduating from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2011. A lifelong Memphian, she brings a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. After many years as a clinical assistant, Brittany is at the front desk where she plays an integral role in creating smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for every patient.
Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She has a passion for travel, enjoys attending live music events, and especially loves being near the water. Recently, she welcomed her son, Hudson, and is embracing this meaningful new chapter with joy and dedication.
Aimee
RDA, EFDA
Aimee Gee, RDA, EFDA, brings over 23 years of dedicated experience to our practice. She has been a valued member of the team since graduating and has continued to grow in her field by earning her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification.
As an EFDA, Aimee performs advanced clinical procedures that enhance efficiency and elevate patient care. Her expanded skill set allows the office to provide more streamlined treatments, reduce wait times, and deliver a higher level of service. Her expertise, precision, and commitment to excellence make her an integral part of the team and a trusted resource for both patients and colleagues.
Outside the office, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym, and spending time at the lake. She welcomed a new granddaughter; she is looking forward to embracing this exciting new chapter of her life.
Angela
RDA
Angela has been a part of our team as an RDA for years! She has been working at our office since graduation from Tennessee Technology. She has actually been a patient here since she was a child. Her dedication and drive to succeed keep her motivated and excited to learn new skills. Angela is always willing to take on any challenge and will go the extra mile when needed. This flexibility and determination will serve her well in the coming year, as she prepares to attend the dental hygiene program at the University of Tennessee Health Center.
Angela loves to greet the day with a tall glass of sweet tea with lemons and keep things low-key throughout the week. On the weekend, she likes to kick the excitement up a notch, and shop, travel, and eat out with friends and family.
Holli
RDA, Treatment Coordinator
Holli joined our office in 1995 as a Registered Dental Assistant after graduating from Tennessee Technology. She continues to use her clinical skills and now serves as our Treatment Coordinator, where she helps patients understand their treatment and find ways to make is affordable.
Holli is a true people person who enjoys meeting new patients and welcoming back those who have been part of our practice for years. She treats patients like they are her friends, and most of them are.
Holli is a native Memphian and enjoys attending the University of Memphis basketball and football games. She is married to Jason and a proud mother of four. She enjoys going to the beach and loves traveling with her family. Her daughter, Hannah, recently got married and they are excited to be gaining a son-in-law.
Lacy
Insurance Coordinator
Lacy joined the East office in 2005 as our Insurance Coordinator and has demonstrated she can multitask in any situation. Lacy is our go-to person if there's an issue with our computers or dental technology. She will get the job done!
She plays an integral role in helping our patients maximize and understand their dental benefits. If you encounter an issue with insurance or dental benefits, please contact her. Lacy loves to cook, travel, and spend quality time with her dog and her family.
Tida
RDH
With over fourteen years in dental hygiene, Tida is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in 2012 and remains committed to delivering high-quality, personalized treatment.
She takes a gentle approach to care, always prioritizing patient comfort to create a calm, stress-free experience. Tida understands that every patient has unique oral health needs and enjoys tailoring easy, individualized strategies for maintaining good oral health at home.
Outside of work, Tida loves spending time with her husband, homeschooling their son and daughter, caring for their dog, Lucy. Her hobbies include taking her children to all their extracurricular activities and embracing every moment, saying she “wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Lily Evans
RDA
Lily is a highly dedicated Registered Dental Assistant committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Since she joined our team, she has developed a strong foundation in clinical excellence and patient support. Originally from the Sunshine State, Lily has proudly called Memphis home for the past four years.
In her role, Lily primarily assists Dr. Clayton Myers, where she plays a key part in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail and her compassionate, patient focused approach, ensuring each individual feels comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.
Outside of the practice, Lily enjoys spending time outdoors with her two huskies, traveling abroad, and visiting family and friends at the beach with her husband. She brings the same level of dedication, positivity, and professionalism to her personal life as she does to her work, reflecting her genuine passion for the field of dentistry.
Adrianna Moore
RDA
Adrianna Moore is a Hernando, Mississippi native with 16 years of experience as a registered dental assistant. She brings a diverse background to the practice, with experience in both pediatrics and oral surgery, making her a strong and valued member of the team. Adrianna attended Delta Technical College and has built her career on providing compassionate, skilled care to her patients.
Her experience in pediatrics allows her to connect easily with younger patients, creating a calm, friendly environment that helps children feel comfortable and at ease—kids truly enjoy their time with her. With a naturally sweet and reassuring personality, Adrianna plays an important role in making dental visits positive experiences for families. In surgical settings, she is efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any situation. Her strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate the needs of both the doctor and patient make her an essential part of the clinical team.
A proud and loving mother of three—Paige, Tyson, and Kennedi, Adrianna’s family is the center of her world. Outside of her career, she enjoys adventure and spending time outdoors. In her free time, she can often be found mud riding, reading, or exploring her creative side through the arts.
Rickiya Patterson
RDA
Rickiya Patterson, RDA is a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant with a strong passion for dentistry and patient care. She primarily assists Dr. Clayton Myers and has been a valued member of the team since graduating where she continues to grow both professionally and academically.
Rickiya is committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and confident in their smile. She takes pride in going above and beyond to support both patients and her team, while continuously advancing her skills and knowledge in the field. Currently, She is furthering her education with the goal of becoming a dentist. She is excited about the journey ahead and looks forward to expanding her role in the dental profession.
Outside of the office, Rickiya enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about volunteering, including participating in events such as Mission of Mercy. She also dedicates time to her studies as she works toward her future career in dentistry.
Elizabeth
Front Desk
Elizabeth joined our office in 2025! She has taken the role at the front desk of welcoming and scheduling patients. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk in the door.
Elizabeth is a kind, organized, and dependable team member who loves being the first smile our patients encounter. She takes pride in creating a positive experience and building relationships with the patients and team.
Outside of the office, Elizabeth loves to go hiking and to the lake with her husband. They also enjoy caring for their friends’ doggies when they need care. Spending time outdoors, with loved ones (both two-legged and four-legged!), is what recharges her heart.
