Kenny D. Groshart II, D.D.S.
Dr. Kenny D. Groshart II is from Germantown, Tennessee, and didn’t always know he wanted to be a dentist. In fact, when he headed to college, he still wasn’t sure what career he wanted to pursue. With a few ideas in mind - including medicine, business, and marketing - Dr. Groshart earned a degree in Communication from the University of Tennessee, pledging Phi Gamma Delta. After graduation, he landed a sales position he hoped would lead him into the medical sales field, but quickly realized this would not allow him the opportunity to be a hands-on primary provider. It was this realization that compelled him to go back to school, eventually graduating with honors from the University of Tennessee Dental School.
While attending dental school, Dr. Groshart was an Honorary Odontological Society Member, and the recipient of several honors, including:
- The William J. Eells, DDS Scholarship Award
- The Dental Fund Scholar Award
- The Graham Scholar Award
Dr. Groshart was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership & Honors Organization, as well as the following organizations:
- The American Student Dental Association
- The American Dental Association
- The American Association of Endodontists
- The Christian Medical and Dental Association
Dr. Groshart believes it is important to share his experience and expertise, and has been a part of mission trips to Mafraq, Jordan with the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He has volunteered at the Church Health Center, Christian Mobile Dental Clinic, Community Oral Health Fair, and Give Kids a Smile. He also worked for an extended period of time with a program at the UT Dental Clinic in Union City, Tennessee, providing affordable and affordable dental care to families in the community.
Dr. Groshart loves being a part of Memphis, and has enjoyed watching it grow and change over the years. His wife of seven years teaches junior kindergarten at Christ Methodist Day School, and in their spare time, they love spending time at Shelby Farms and hanging out in Midtown. Dr. Groshart loves to hunt duck, dove, and pheasant, and is equally invested in fishing and fly fishing. He and his wife are both big fans of being outdoors and attend Fellowship Church. They can often be found at home, grilling out and using the smoker to create delicious dishes!

After 34 years, she is a fixture around the office, and we wouldn’t know what to do without her! Jackie is our social butterfly, and has the ability to put any patient at ease, whether they’re nine or ninety. As a cancer survivor, Jackie knows the importance of living each day to the fullest, and loves to volunteer in the local community and support international efforts like Susan G. Komen. Stephanie has been an RDA with us for four years now, and is always looking for new things to learn and excel in within the dentistry field. We love her enthusiasm and her dedication to our patients! She makes it easy for patients to talk to her, and really helps to relax them if they’re feeling nervous. In her free time, this tomboy-at-heart can be found working out, hunting, fishing, and hanging around the great outdoors with her friends and family.
Aimee, R.D.A., E.F.D.A.

Margaret has been a big part of the practice since joining us as a dental hygienist twenty years ago. “Margo Fargo” has a huge heart, and takes pride not only in the quality of care she is able to provide to our patients, but in the relationships she is able to develop with them. Margaret is mom to five fantastic children, so she stays busy! In her free time, she has a passion for cooking and baking delicious treats to pass on to others. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, volunteering for the causes that are important to her, and spending time with her husband, kids, and granddaughter.
Laurie graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1983, and has worked as a RDH for Dr. Edwards ever since then! Laurie’s life motto is “live large, laugh big” and she demonstrates this every day in the office with patients and staff. A master communicator, Laurie knows how to talk so people will listen and listen so people will talk. When she’s not working, Laurie loves to go for a good run, and enjoys any form of exercise, really! She also looks forward to quality time relaxing and hanging out with her husband and their three sons in their downtime.
Originally from Missouri, Jessica moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and joined our team shortly after receiving her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2006. Not only is Jessica a friendly face around the office, she’s also very detail-oriented with an excellent memory, something that serves her well with her busy schedule! When she’s not caring for patients and helping to meet dental needs in the community, Jessica loves spending time with her husband and daughter, planning her next trip around the world.
Mallery has been a RDH with us for the last five years. A native Memphian, she completed her undergraduate degree at UofM before graduating with her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science in 2011. Patients love how punctual Mallery is, since they can count on their appointments running on time, something that’s super important in today’s busy world. Her kindness and patience with patients and staff never goes unnoticed, and these traits serve her well in her volunteer work as well. When she’s not in the office, Mallery loves hanging out with her dog, Shark, and planning puppy play dates for them. Though she’s a downtown girl now, she still loves nothing more than spending time at Pickwick Lake with her friends and family.
Holli is another long-timer, having joined our practice 25 years ago as a dental assistant. While she still holds that role, she also wears another hat as our financial coordinator. Holli is a people person who loves the opportunity to meet new patients and welcome those who have been with us for years. Her warmth and friendliness keep both our patients and our staff smiling! When Holli isn’t hard at work in the office or supporting endeavors like Mission of Mercy, she spends as much time as possible with her two wonderful children, and gets to the beach as often as she can.
Lacy has been our go-to woman for a whole lot of things since she joined our practice 13 years ago. She previously spent several years as our Office Manager, but she now plays an integral role in the success of the office as Insurance Coordinator. Lacy is an absolute pro when it comes to the ins and outs of dealing with insurance, something our patients are so appreciative of (as are we!) When she isn’t welcoming patients to the office with enthusiasm, Lacy loves to travel, watch sports, and spend quality time with her boyfriend and family.
Ashley is our intrepid office manager, and has been with us for seventeen years now. As the mom of three busy boys, she’s a pro at staying on task, and is a multitasker extraordinaire, something that benefits our staff and our patients! When Ashley isn’t using her organizational skills to keep things running smoothly at work, she enjoys painting, sewing, crafting, and spending quality time with her sons.

Amber is the newest member of our team, joining us in April of 2018 as our Patient Coordinator. With her people skills, patience, and ability to organize, she has quickly made herself invaluable to our practice! Amber is mom to three teenagers, which leaves very little room in her schedule for much outside of work and parenting, but she loves spending time with her kids, just relaxing and hanging out. When she has the time, Amber also likes to help her friends declutter and organize their homes in a more efficient manner.
