Scott A. Edwards, D.D.S.
Dr. Scott Edwards has lived his entire life in Memphis. After graduating from Overton High School, he received a Biology degree from the University of Tennessee. Upon graduating from UT Dental School, he opened his private dental practice in 1982. He has two children, Taylor and Maggie. They are active members at Christ United Methodist Church. Dr. Edwards has served on the Administrative Board, Missions Committee, Youth Committee, as well as, the Recreation Committee of his church. He also currently serves on the Board of SOS (Service Over Self).
Dr. Edwards has participated in numerous Medical/Dental mission trips to El Salvador, Africa, China, and the Dominican Republic. He helped establish and renovate the new dental clinic at the Church Health Center and has served on its Board. In 2010, Dr. Edwards traveled with a team to construct a dental teaching facility in Ganta, Liberia. He currently serves as Trustee of the Memphis Dental Society Charitable Fund. He received the Memphis Dental Society Humanitarian Award in 2012.
Julia Prince, D.D.S.
Dr. Julia Prince grew up in her hometown of Dyersburg, Tennessee. After graduating from Dyersburg High School, she obtained her biology degree from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee in 2006. She is a graduate of UT College of Dentistry and has worked with Hope Smiles in Nashville, Give Kids a Smile, Local Health Fairs with American Association of Women Dentist, and Bellevue Baptist mobile dental clinic. She has also participated with Habitat for Humanity in Mexico and the United States, and served as a volunteer with the Regional Interfaith Association Soup Kitchen.
Dr. Prince is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentist, and Memphis Dental Society. She has grown up in the dental community having worked for her father's (Dr. Randy Prince) dental practice in Dyersburg.
She and Dr. Edwards share the practice philosophy of providing comprehensive dentistry through working with each patient to meet the individual's distinctive oral health goals. Dr. Prince and her husband, Taylor Pfohl, attend Idlewild Presbyterian Church. They enjoy playing with their rescue dogs and spending the weekends on the golf course.
Adam Fitzhugh, D.D.S.
Born and raised in Memphis, Dr. Adam Fitzhugh is a family dentist. He attended Christian Brothers High School & graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Fitzhugh continued his studies at the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014.
His wife, Kayla, is a Registered Nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fitzhugh and Kayla enjoy spending time together at Shelby Farms with their dog. He also enjoys building & flying remote control airplanes. They are both members at Hope Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Fitzhugh is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, as well as, the America Student Dental Association. His decision to practice dentistry is based on a passion to work one-on-one with individuals & boost his patient’s quality of life. Dr. Fitzhugh has volunteered with the Bellevue Baptist Mobile Dental Clinic, Give Kids A Smile, and most recently with the first Mid-South Mission of Mercy & seeks to continue his volunteer service around the local community.
Brittany Bancroft, C.D.A., R.D.A.
Brittany Bancroft, CDA, RDA completed her externship in our office in April 2011 and joined our team upon graduation. She attended Immaculate Conception High School and Tennessee Technology Center of Memphis. Brittany is a member at Hope Presbyterian Church here in Memphis. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is always up for a day on the lake.
Kenisha Miller, R.D.A.
Kenisha Miller, RDA graduated
from Whitehaven High School with honors and continued her education at
Tennessee Technology Center of Memphis. After externing in our office, Kenisha joined
our dental team upon graduation in 2012. Kenisha's interests include dance,
travel, and spending quality time with her daughter.
Jessica Howell, C.D.A., R.D.A.
Jessica Howell, CDA, RDA is a
recent addition to our office staff and has worked in the dental field for
several years. She attended Bartlett
High School and Tennessee
Technology Center of Memphis. Jessica and her daughter, Ashlynn, enjoy spending
time outside and shopping with one another.
Jackie Clark, R.D.A.
Jackie Clark has worked for
Dr. Edwards since 1984. She is married to Richard and has two children, Dylan
and Kelsey. Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and bunko night with
Stephanie Swee, R.D.A.
Stephanie Swee, RDA, is our newest dental assistant & we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her! Stephanie attended Arlington High School & Southwest Community College. She continued her studies at Concord Academy, where she graduated in 2010. When she's not at work, you can find Stephanie at the gym. She is a tomboy at heart; she loves hunting, fishing, and spending time outside with friends.
Aimee Gee, R.D.A.
Aimee Gee, RDA is originally from Hornlake, MS and graduated from Tennessee Technology Center of Memphis. She happily married to her husband, Jophy. She and Jophy have four children: Peyton, Sam, Mary, and Joe. She has worked for Dr. Edwards since 2003. Aimee enjoys camping and any other outdoor activity.
Margaret Fargotstein, R.D.H.
Margaret Fargotstein graduated from UT Health Science Center with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene and has been with Dr. Edwards since 1998. She is married to Shep and has five wonderful children, and one grand daughter. "Margo Fargo" enjoys family, traveling, and exercise, and baking delicious treats.
Laurie Martin, R.D.H.
Laurie Martin graduated from
University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1983 and has worked for Dr.
Edwards since graduation. Laurie is married to Tom and they have three boys:
Owen, Austin, and Andrew. She enjoys running and any form of exercise.
Jessica Nelson, R.D.H.
Jessica Nelson is originally from Missouri, but moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She received her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2006 and joined our team shortly after. Jessica and her husband, Ronnie, have a energetic toddler named Mackenzie. Jessica loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys exploring new places around the world.
Mallery Duncan, R.D.H.
Mallery Duncan is a native Memphian. She attended Briarcrest Christian highschool and did her undergrad at University of Memphis. She graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science with her bachelors of dental hygiene in 2011. She is now a downtowner and enjoys staying busy around town with her friends and family. She also enjoys volunteer work and relaxing at Pickwick lake.
Holli Haymon R.D.A.
Holli Haymon joined our practice in 1995 as a dental assistant. Holli continues to help assist, but also works as our financial coordinator. She absolutely loves meeting new people & is always making the staff & patients smile! She has two children: Hannah and Reed, and they are her world. They enjoy playing sports and going to the beach during the summer.
Lacy is our Office Manager and joined the dental team in 2005. Lacy is our go-to woman! She is enthusiastic, welcoming, and loves her job. Lacy enjoys traveling, football, and spending time with friends and family.
Ashley Hanson has been employed at Dr. Scott Edwards practice since 2001. She has three beautiful boys: Payton, Nicholas, and Cameron. Ashley enjoys painting, sewing, crafts, and spending time with her family.
Deborah Frazier has worked at the Midtown location since 2004. Deborah is known for her great personality and beautiful smile! She is the mother of two daughters, whom attend the University of Memphis. Deborah enjoys traveling, concerts, and finding new things to do around our city.
