Brittany is a talented CDA/RDA who has been with us since completing her externship in our office and graduating in 2011. A lifelong Memphian (Go Tigers!), Brittany is a hard worker who is dedicated to her job and to providing the best dental care to the families in our community.
When she’s not in the office, she loves spending time at the lake or the beach with her family and friends. She believes any day is a good day if it’s by the water.
Kenisha joined us as an RDA after externing in our office and graduating in 2012. She takes a lot of pride in her work and is known around the office as a real team player. As a mom, Kenisha has learned how to balance work and fun in an organized way, and can always be counted on to pitch in when her help is needed.
Kenisha is hoping to take her skills to the next level by completing her prerequisite courses for dental hygiene school this year. When she isn’t working or studying, Kenisha is all about spending quality time with her daughter. She also enjoys dancing and traveling.
Stephanie has been an RDA with us for four years, and is always looking for new things to learn and excel in within the dentistry field. We love her enthusiasm and her dedication to our patients.
She makes it easy for patients to talk to her and really helps to relax them if they’re feeling nervous. In her free time, this tomboy-at-heart can be found working out, hunting, fishing, and hanging around the great outdoors with her friends and family.
Originally hailing from Hornlake, Mississippi, Aimee is one of our RDAs. Her happy-go-lucky outlook on life and friendly smile have been helping to set patients at ease in our practice for the last 15 years.
Aimee is dedicated to providing the best dental care possible for families in our community, and we can’t imagine the office without her. Outside of the office, Aimee likes to camp and enjoy being outdoors with her husband and four children. You might also find her working out and attending sporting events for her kids.
Margaret has been a big part of the practice since joining us as a dental hygienist twenty years ago. “Margo Fargo” has a huge heart, and takes pride not only in the quality of care she is able to provide to our patients, but in the relationships she is able to develop with them. Margaret is mom to five fantastic children, so she stays busy! In her free time, she has a passion for cooking and baking delicious treats to pass on to others. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, volunteering for the causes that are important to her, and spending time with her husband, kids, and granddaughter.
Laurie graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1983, and has worked as a RDH for Dr. Edwards ever since then! Laurie’s life motto is “live large, laugh big” and she demonstrates this every day in the office with patients and staff. A master communicator, Laurie knows how to talk so people will listen and listen so people will talk. When she’s not working, Laurie loves to go for a good run, and enjoys any form of exercise, really! She also looks forward to quality time relaxing and hanging out with her husband and their three sons in their downtime.
Originally from Missouri, Jessica moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and joined our team shortly after receiving her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2006. Not only is Jessica a friendly face around the office, but she’s also very detail-oriented with an excellent memory, something that serves her well with her busy schedule.
When she’s not caring for patients and helping to meet dental needs in the community, Jessica loves spending time with her husband and daughter, planning her next trip around the world.
Mallery has been a RDH with us for the last five years. A native Memphian, she completed her undergraduate degree at UofM before graduating with her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science in 2011. Patients love how punctual Mallery is, since they can count on their appointments running on time, something that’s super important in today’s busy world. Her kindness and patience with patients and staff never goes unnoticed, and these traits serve her well in her volunteer work as well. When she’s not in the office, Mallery loves hanging out with her dog, Shark, and planning puppy play dates for them. Though she’s a downtown girl now, she still loves nothing more than spending time at Pickwick Lake with her friends and family.
Treatment Coordinator / Dental Assistant
Holli is another long-timer, having joined our practice 25 years ago as a dental assistant. While she still holds that role, she also wears another hat as our financial coordinator. Holli is a people person who loves the opportunity to meet new patients and welcome those who have been with us for years.
Her warmth and friendliness keep both our patients and our staff smiling. When Holli isn’t hard at work in the office or supporting endeavors like Mission of Mercy, she spends as much time as possible with her two wonderful children and gets to the beach as often as she can.
Lacy joined our East office in 2005 and has shown that she can multitask in any situation. Lacy is our go-to person if there's an issue with our computer.
As our insurance coordinator, she plays an integral role in helping our patients maximize (and understand) their dental benefits. When she isn’t welcoming patients to the office with enthusiasm, Lacy loves to cook, travel, and spend quality time with her dog and her family.
Deborah has greeted Midtown patients with a big, beautiful smile since she joined the team in 2003. Our patient coordinator is also our resident “front office silver fox,” known for her bubbly personality and that beautiful smile.
Originally from Michigan, Deborah moved to Memphis in 1991. When she’s not working, Deborah enjoys traveling, concerts, cooking, yoga, and finding fun new things to do around our city.
Amber is the newest member of our team, joining us in April of 2018 as our patient coordinator. With her people skills, patience, and ability to organize, she has quickly made herself invaluable to our practice.
Amber is a mom to three teenagers, leaving very little room in her schedule for much outside of work and parenting, but she loves spending time with her kids, just relaxing and hanging out. When she has the time, Amber also likes to help her friends declutter and organize their homes in a more efficient manner.
Tida has been a full-time registered dental hygienist with us for just over a year now. Our resident thrill seeker, she loves anything that gets her adrenaline kicking, including providing care to families in our community.
Tida’s patient personality and understanding nature are a hit with our patients, and come in handy working with rescue dogs, something she is passionate about. When she’s not working, you can find Tida exercising or taking care of her sweet dog Lucy, who she would love to train as a therapy dog soon.
Angela is one of our newest RDAs, joining our team about ten months ago. Her dedication and drive to succeed keep her motivated and excited to learn and perfect her skills! Angela is always willing to take on any challenge or change and will go the extra mile when needed. This flexibility and determination will serve her well in the coming year, as she prepares to attend the dental hygiene program at the University of Tennessee Health Center.
Angela loves to greet the day with a tall glass of sweet tea with lemons and keep things low-key throughout the week. On weekend, she likes to kick the excitement up a notch, and shop, travel, and eat out with friends and family.
